At the Gorilla Baking Conservancy we love to bake.
 
We haven't won any awards and in fact we haven't even made it past the first round in any of the few competitions we've entered. But we have brought delight (usually - there was the Frighteningly Bad Fruit Cake Incident several years back) to the palates of friends, family, and colleagues who have been testers and that's more than good enough!
Company history
We started baking with our mother in her kitchen mostly making Toll House cookies and Challah. Our father was also a source of inspiration as he regularly regaled us with hyperboilc tales of the amazing choclate cakes our mother made for him when they were courting.
 
In college we helped pay our tuition by as a short order cook and pizza maker.
 
After college we worked for several professional bakers and pastry chefs as well as taking numerous courses in a local cooking store. It was during an apprenticeship with a couple of particularly talented pastry chefs that our love of baking exploded and we began prodigously producing for friends, family, and the odd strangers at the local tavern we used to frequent.
